last day of the year

its 31st december. the date that means a lot to many people. for me, its not a day like any normal. i believe that this day should be a mark, a point where you take a time and think on what has happened for the past 364 days of your life. in my case, its 365 x 23 (thats the number of years i have gone thru).

the past 364 days have gone great for me. i'm in the pace moving upwards. going up high, getting near and nearer to my goal. yes i h ave to admit there were some shits here and there, but i still believe that the success still overshine them all.

this year has been a good one for me. 2 things that i believe important, happened to me throughout this year were:

1) worked hard for my SIFE team. Directed projects here and there, and assisted in others. running up and down the student affairs office, fighing over budget approval with the Deputy Vice Chancellor, a trip to sabah, handling 5 interns from USA, to have a person that used to hate me to the max takes me as one of her close friend, foster parents program in Alor Setar, Kedah, and all the moments i went through, working for the best of the organization...the outcome? we were crowned as national champions...AGAIN! its a 3 years in the row achievement. it the trophy is a challenge trophy, she would be sitting in UiTM Vice-Chancellor's office for the rest of her life.

2) the trip to USA. to be selected in the list of 21 students to represent the country in a Bussiness Internship Initiative is such a big thing for me. though at first i decided not to apply, but i did it at last. plus, to be selected as contingent leader is such an honour for me.spent 3 months with wonderful people, sharing the good and the bad, will be a thing that i always remember.

but all these doesn't come easy. i had to choose between two priorities. either to forget all above (especially item no.2) to make sure i graduate on time or to extend my studies. yes i will be graduating a bit late compared to my classmates but the experience i gain, priceless. and i think i had made the right decision. to go for my dreams.

the way i spent today? spent the whole day with 30 koreans undergoing a volunteer program in malaysia. they were based in uitm as the university has had this kind of partnership program for the past 3 years with them. it was intersting when you got 3 cute korean girls to interview you about yourself. it was even better when i got to teach a class of 15 singing Siti Nurhaliza song 'Bukan Cinta Biasa'. the intersting part of it, they REALLY loves the song. and i mean it. they are the one who requested to learn the song, not the professor. and to look at their enthusiast faces, i know, i'm not making fool of myself. i've done a good thing.

tonight? tonight will be even better. i'll be celebrating the new year 2006 with them too. i guess i am, without realizing it, starting to like these people. they were very nice people. its not that i have never meet any koreans or handle any foreign students. its just i just think these people were different. they are here with mission to do good deeds. to help people. to create a smile in the face of those that rarely have chance to do so. i feel like them and me, share one thing in common. sacrifice self for the betterment of the others. nah, i don't know. i'm just curious. but i don't care. i like this feeling. thats why i decide to be with them. i want to know, is this feeling right? let the time tell.

guess i don't have much time. i need to take a bow to go. to all, happy new year. may the coming year be a good one. don't forget to work hard in your chase of your dreams. good luck!

6 things i have to do today...
  1. pay my uitm fee
  2. re-send my project paper proposal to my advisor
  3. buy a new thumb drive (got sale in carrefour!!)
  4. get my resume from edzuan's p.c
  5. print and send the resume to a company in port klang (i'm looking for part-time job)
  6. send the bike for service

guess what? i DID all that!!!

received a sms from edzuan, he'll be discherged tomorrow, so i went to fay him the last visit in the hospital. unluckily, the motorbike route in federal h/way was banjir due to heavy rain earlier in the evening. my bike got stucked in the water. after some 'touch up', the bike was back on the track. thank god!

so happy edzuan gonna be discharged tomorrow. good for him. this new year should be a good one for him!

three days to new year...

three days to new year...

until this point of time, i have not decide where the heck am i gonna celebrate the coming year. a friend gave me a weird face the moment i tell her this. she has made a bullet proof plan, escaping her parents so she can party all night. i wonder why does people have to work their ass so much, to wait for one second, looking for reason to shake their ass to death. i remember a story of a friend that spent the whole night in KL for millenium celebration, but he ended up missed the moment-why? he got stomach-eche, spent the supposed to be "memorable' moment in the TOILET! tell me now, what does that suppose to mean?

the fact of the matter is, at some point i don't see any reason why i need to worry so much. a new year would mean nothing if things are not going to the better. whatever it is, its pretty much very subjective to measure either a year is good or bad for a person. its your life, you decide.

December 27th, 2005

received a phone call from shama, his grandpa, passed away. gonna drive to his hometown in Alor Setar, Kedah for one day trip. he got to go to work tomorrow.

so we drove with minimum 120 km/hr speed all the way.

glad that we made it for the funeral, it went well. later in the evening had 'nasi royale'-one famous thing you need to have anytime you come to Alor Setar. Mee Abu was just around the corner but guess that i was so full, maybe next time.

we drove back at 11pm after one nice dinner where murtabak was the main course. journey was smooth. reached K.L at 3.30am. Sent Rohaida, Shama's cousin back to UM, and took Din (Rohaida's sister) back to shah alam. he going back to ampang tomorrow.

December 28th, 2005

and me? slept the whole day...thanks to prov, his phone call saved me from wasting my day. paid a visit to edzuan. he looks much better today. nas, zikri, and edz's sibling were there too.

and now i'm at home. decided to come back to gombak than a rid eback to shah alam.

Bye guys.

p/s: all of you should hear to one of Naruto's theme song - Haruka Kanata... i love it !!!

my aunt's family arrived last night, they are here to send my cousin back to MMU cyber. i personally have some question on that. he (my cousin) is already 19, and able to take care of himself. why in the world does the whole family have to be there to send him off. this is NOT his first semester, he is not a psycho kid that needs to be watched all the time, in fact, he has a lot of friends. can't he take a bus ride all the way from penang, register himself, and be given chance to stand on his own feet? does the family, in particular, parents have to crack their head to do all these when actually the boy want to do it himself?

this is such a very sad situation. when parents want to take control of everything. in the time when the kid have to start learning to do it by its own, parents took the chance with various reasonings. if they don't learn now, when else? in this case, over protective just the wrong thing to be in place.

i never deny the right of parents to KNOW what happens to their children. or to HELP. but when it comes to the point where the kid have no control over his life, thats just bad. really bad.

the effect? the birth of new over-pempered generation. the worst case scenario, when these kids, when they grew older, have their own kids treat their children even worse.(in this case, the more you pemper the kids, the more bad it is) .even worse, the trend continues and, wonder what could happen to the future generations. manja tak kena tempat.

thats why in today's scenario, we find youngsters hardly able to find their identity, because the process being interrupted with the eagerness to run from control(parents). indirectly the decicions made were not based on what they want, but sometimes on what their parents don't like. just to proof to the old man that they are able to make decisions too.

so we have (retaliation vs. sane mind) vs. running over control.

parents, litsen to this...your children are O.K. its just they need to be given chance to proof it.

i'm glad that my parents geve me the chance. i want all of us have it too.

painted the house...today, its the kitchen and my sister's room.

received a phone call from lin...an offer to zoo negara seemed to be not on the right time, darling. maybe next time...

received another phone call from haswaty. my friend from uitm perlis. sorry ema, mid valley is currently not in my list of affordability...

went to meet edzuan.

i promised a friend of mine to meet her sometime today but seemed it was raining the whole evening, plus the fact that i am a motorcyclist just make me feel bad. sorry friend, maybe next time.

a friend of mine, being a cute person she is has some sort made my day. her story lost while looking for her car in OU was so damn funny. she had no clue whatsoever where she perked her car. she THOUGHT that it was on the 'H' area. looked for the place for 15 minutes, but she didn't manage to fine any 'H" area. then she just realize that the car was just on her side.literally on her side. and it wasn't H area. it was 'C' area!!

haiyoh...

painted my mom's room. damn i'm good..the room looks so nice now.

i wanted to book for free flight ticket from air asia. jakarta might be a good place to go. maybe bu october next year? i'll decide soon.

went to the hospital again. edzuan can already eat soft foods. thats a good sign. the best part, many of our friends were present today. mostly debaters, i have to say.

then went to low yat plaza. yon got himself a mp3 player, and it was reallya agood deal. creatice muVo 5 gig at MYR 490. that was really a good price! prov got himself a windows installer, edzral was looking for dvds but tak jumpa. me? was just surveying for external hard disk. maybe the idea of thumb drive is no more applicable for me, i guess. NEED MORE SPACE!!! sadly, none of them attract me enough.

then, NZ wangsa maju, kg nahkoda, selayang, and back to HKL to take my bike.

that wraps the day...

i am a bit tired, actually. was there in the hospital outside of the operation theatre. the operation that described by surgeon as 'very simple, should not take long time' took about 7 1/2 hours since the moment the nurses took edzuan in.

he came out good. can move all his limbs, can speak, and n fact, ha can even be cranky!!!hehehe... two most frequent word he said.."hungry", and "bored".yup, what else should he feel when he was stucked on the bed, cannot take any food, plus with all the wires attached to the body.

edzral and prov came later..i 'smuggled' them in as they arrived after the visiting hours..hehehe...

later we ( prov, edzral, yon, myself ) went to have nice nasi lemak in chow kit...

received a phone call from edzuan while i was having lunch. good news: his tumor is not cancerous, and he will be admitted in Hospital Kuala Lumpur (HKL) (formerly known as Genereal Hospital (GH)). the operation will take place on the friday.

i was so stressed out the whole day. i was squeezing my brain in creating sentences to design my questionaire. it will be used during my survey for my project paper. thought that it was too cold in the library made me unable to think, i went back to my room hoping that i could work something out overthere. well, i failed.

guess what happened? hell, ended sleeping until evening, i decided to repay my foolishness by going out for a jog(wonder how does it relates, but what the heck...its my call anyway). i know its a no surprise that i am no more as fit a before, but it was such a shock to know that 3rounds going around section 6 lake garden was such a hard thing to do! damn, last time i used to have 5 non-stop, on speed rounds. no worry, i'll be there again...i promise!

December 19, 2005

my mom took an annual leave today. settling matters on the house.

i forgot to tell you guys. for the last 2 weeks, my house was going under a renovation process. extended the front part, and fixing some stuffs in the house.

somewhere between 3 to 4 pm, i rode back to Shah Alam. guess i rode too fast. it was a full throttle and the speed was over 120 km/h. Went straight away to MITRANS to so some research on questionaire design.

Night, went to USJ, meet a friend. has some sort of cerrier talk. 15 minutes to 11, went back to shah alam. Besut was there in the room, he asked me for opinion on his job. so we have a cerrier talk. the second in a day, for me. thought that was all, 12.15 am, went out with prov and we had another talk over cerrier development. total: 3 cerrier talks in a day. i like that. made me feel recognized.

I stayed over Prov's place, cooked fried rice for the house. then watch 'Madagascar' (yeah..AGAIN!!) stupid giant funzees..! hehehe..

my bike broke down again, and i only have RM 13 in hand. The spark plug need to be changed. That tooks RM 4.50. Lunch was RM 2.40. At night, went to the mamak to watch EPL match. it was Man.U vs. Aston Villa. Ast played so bad until out of sudden I rooted for Man.U to win, tho they didn't play good either. But still better off than Ast.

Actually there is a pot-luck party happenig in edz's place today. But i just can't afford myself financially to go. With RM4 left in the pocket, that would not be even enough for gas, plus i have to go back to gombak on Sunday, after I settled the Thai students.

I'm sorry, bro. I really am. Really wish to be there and join the crowd to give you support, but maybe there's reason why does this happen.

Got to sleep early, need to wake up early tomorrow. The Thai kids arriving at 5.30 am.

Khap..khun..kap...

December 18, 2005

i was late for the bus going to Pudu Raya. thanks to kak ezu for the call. luckily i made it anyway.

first impression on the Thai kids, they are very polite. (well, thats not new, tho..my other friend from Thai were pretty much the same), and more impressively, they can speak Malay! Eventhough it was only basic ones, guess that was a good headstart...

sent them to their room, let them to get some rest.

at 1.30pm, met them at Giant 13, helped to change currency so they can buy stuffs. Basic needs for life. actually i was impressed to see there were no money changer in the building. i got to ride all the way to Plaza Masalam for it.

Later rode back to gombak, got some rest.

11.55pm, went to watch an important EPL match, Arsenal vs. Chelsea. Looking at their current perfromance, I personally have doubt that Arsenal would make it to win, and i was right. a 2-0 defeat at home ground was something a can classify as humiliative experience for The Gunners.
Earlier today, Liverpool lost to Sao Paolo in Toyota Cup in Japan. The Brazillians were so hard to be knocked...they are so good.

Chow!

its a wasted day. didn't do anythin important/meaningful except accompaneid Shama to Bukit Raja, surveying his new suit, and went to Mdm. Fairuz's office to discuss matters over Thai students that will come over for a semester to UiTM to learn Bahasa Melayu. I will be going with some other people to fetch them from Pudu Raya this thursday. Thought of going to meet Edzuan with Prov but we just cant afford to do that. Some technical problem and misplanned trip mangement deny us from doing it.

edz my bro part II

sent the project paper proposal to PM Sabariah. at least half a job is done.

went to meet edzuan. it was me, prov, and hafiedz. i'm released to see him still be able to put a smile in the face and act normal. but still within his words, you can feel his pain. we had a chat over KFC chickens (at his place) and later hang at the living room. edzral later came and that completes the circle of the ever known Arau Debaters. The living legend. Took a look at his medical report and x-rays. he got a 4cm x 4cm x 5.6cm tumor on his the top of his left brain. we are hoping that the tumor is not cancerous, or else it would cause greater damage.

i can't stop praying for him to get well soon.

as i was sitting alone in my room, i recalled the days when we were in arau. he was a semester senior to me, but that wasn't a barrier for us to be a close friend. i was such a stucked-up bastard that can't even speak english well until i meet the debaters. still remember on the days when hafiedz and him convinced me to get into English Debates over BM. All the hours we spent in the gerai everyday. all the tournaments we went to together. hahaha...those good old days, will never come back. below is our picture somewhere around 4 years ago. taken at the place we called kedai makcik in UiTM Arau, this place used to play a role as our hang out place, singing stage, and even debate training venue.

from left: prov(rizal), edzral, hendra, edzuan, myself, and bal.(hafiedz wasn't in the picture, couldn't recall why. was him the one who took the picture?

i was on my way back to shah alam. it was 10pm and i was riding my ex5 on mahameru highway. normally i will just take the PJ exit but suddenly tonight HE pushed my heart to take Bangsar exit and then get into federal highway again thru pantai dalam.

the moment i reached the traffic light in front of KL Sentral, out of sudden the engine was dead and i have hell of no idea why was that.

so i pushed the bike along the road, hoping that i would find any workshop that was still open. suddenly a guy offered a help, he was walking with his girl. claimed himself a mechanic, he checked the spark plug, etc. then he said "ini masalah besar ni, bang. api tak sampai, mesti starter coil rosak ni.(this is a big porb, the starter coil must have broken, bro). he also said that the nearest workshop that still open during that time were those in Pantai Dalam, and it wasn't a good idea for me to push the bike that far. he suggested that i leave my bike in front of the workshop he worked in, or in front of the 7-e coz it was safer there. i agreed.

as i was pushing the bike, another guy stopped by. fortunately he was a mechanic too. he was mingling around the area. looking at my condition, he agreed to push me using his bike to pantai dalam's workshop. that was such a bless.

got my bike fixed, and i continued my journey to shah alam.

i wish i could meet those two guys again and thank them personally.

congratulations...Luqman Hisyam Che Mazlan and Mohd Jannatul Naim Mokhtar

it's a happy day. my former schoolmate got married. with a cambodian girl...damn cun, deh. but not as cun as her sister (damn i can't take my eyes off of her, hahaha...).though some people say that a wedding ceremony is the perfect place to find your bride, i guess it doesn't work on me. was there from the beginning ( during the preparation time..helped out bit here and there...you would have no freaking idea on how i was so proud to give my personal touch on the main table) of the ceremony until the end (that means until the moment they are starting to close tables). old friends were there, many of them.

all of us with the 'raja sehari' look at the table, beautiful isn't? haaziq and myslef, worked for it...

one of the teacher i love most, Pn. Hawa Yasmin was also present. Only God knows how much I love her. She used to teach me maths, and being a lousy students i used to, she did never give up. guys, when i say i was a lousy student, i really mean it. especially in subjects that involves a lot of calculations, i was a hopeless student. but this lady, was so patient, she gave me personal attention, she made me believe that i can do it. the result: i scored a 'B' for that paper in my PMR exam. and for me that was hell a good achievement. for your information, she teach not solely for money, i was told by the groom that thank you, ma'am.

hello world, whaddup?

the day before, my other former school mate, Naim got his first son. weighted 2.34kg( or somewhere near that)...he already decide the name to his son but god i just ca't recall that...congratz bro..keep up the good work!!! ;)

phew!

December 9th, 2005

as i told you guys, i am currently struggling doing my project paper. last friday ( that was a week ago!) i had a discussion with Mdm. Rusmala Dewi from Rapid KL, a lot of ideas popped up along the one-hour discussion. later in the evening, the same day i sent a 2-page research intention to my advisor, she was so busy with other stuffs until she took a week before she have time to have a glance on my papers. the result was out today, and it was a good one. she agreed on the proposed topic. its about perception towards Rapid KL's new public bus scheme. i will talk more on this later, as i go on moving to the next phase of the research.

went to help out the selection for adjudicator going for world's this year. guess what? after more than one year no to debate, i was TOTALLY RUSTED!!! hell i could not even think for arguments, dey. sure its nothing to be amazed about, but man...i was personally horrified with myself.

right after that, a rempit session. all the way from shah alam to gombak.

actually wanna share something with you guys, but i'm too tired now. maybe sometime later. got to sleep now. my friend, Luqman Hisham will be gettin married tomorrow. wanna be there for him. even it is as early as 10 am.(thats the akad thingy)

from uefa.com. just to add more pain to Man.U supporters...

United undone by brilliant Benfica
Wednesday, 7 December 2005
by Paul Safferfrom Estádio da Luz

Goals from Geovanni and Beto stunned Manchester United FC and enabled SL Benfica to reach the UEFA Champions League knockout rounds for the first time since 1994/95.

No consolation
It meant United, who threw away an early lead achieved through Paul Scholes, failed to advance from the group stage for the first time in ten years, and by finishing bottom of Group D have not even a UEFA Cup place for consolation.

Neville role
In Simão's continued absence, one of a number of Benfica injuries, Ronald Koeman deployed Geovanni in the left-sided attacking role. In direct opposition was the man appointed United captain in Roy Keane's stead, Gary Neville. Keane's departure has also led Sir Alex Ferguson to give the 4-4-2 formation primacy, though from the start it was clear that local prodigy, and target for the Benfica fans' ire, Cristiano Ronaldo, had freedom to roam.

Scholes scores
Barely six minutes had elapsed when Neville performed wing duties to perfection. He darted free on the right following a clever Ryan Giggs ball and the skipper's cross was forced in by Scholes virtually on the line. It was a blow that stunned the home supporters, who had been in lusty voice long before kick-off, though Beto did immediately force Edwin van der Sar to save.

All square
Attack remained the watchword for both teams, and soon it was Benfica's turn to celebrate. Nélson swung in a centre from the right and, spotting a gap, Geovanni produced a far-post diving header of geometric precision. Even these sides could not keep up the pace of that breathless start, and it was some 13 minutes before the next real opportunity, a looping Scholes effort tipped over by Quim. The resulting Giggs corner also caused Benfica momentary concern, but the overriding emotion was joy not long after.

Benfica ahead
A home attack was looking tentative when Beto opted to let fly from outside the area. The deflection off Scholes meant Van der Sar did not stand a chance, and the Luz stands shook with delight. Bottom of the provisional standings, United now required another goal, but it was Benfica who dominated until the break, revelling in their swift turnaround and counterattacking at speed.

Historic resonance
Half-time brought a presentation reuniting the stars of these clubs' famous 1960s meetings, including Eusébio and Sir Bobby Charlton, and the event was given poignancy by George Best's recent death. The 5-1 United victory on their visit here in that era may have been on Benfica's minds when they emerged from the break; they began the second period determined not to allow their visitors to make the Luz their own again.

Ronaldo miss
Luisão in particular was a rock in defence, making a crucial saving tackle on Wayne Rooney and looking commanding in the air. Even when United did find an opening just before the hour thanks to a four-man passing move, Ronaldo slid the ball just past the far post. The introduction of Louis Saha and then Ji-Sung Park showed United's need to find new sources of attack, though a Rooney free-kick went close.

Swift counter
A crossed Rooney set-piece then troubled Benfica, before Koeman introduced João Pereira, whose first act was to turn a Nuno Gomes pass wide. Geovanni then made Van der Sar save in another swift counter, but of more importance was that Benfica repelled all a frustrated United had to offer and made it through on a night which started so unpromisingly for them.

in your face!!!

what a beautiful morning...felt it was so deserving to watch Manchaster United lose to Benfica by 2-1. first time in 9 years Man.U did'n make it to the knowck out round of Champions League. in fact, for me it was a 2-0 defeat as the goal scholes' goal was just a stupid deflection. beto's flying header was really and awesome teamwork while geovanni's shot was such a blast. van de sar, a world's no.1 wannabe was totally hopeless.

i have never feel this way each time i watch Mna.U lost. the thing was, beforet the match 4 Man.U fans disturbed me with their extereme obsession to the team. man, its just football. the defeat is just a small punishment from the god do they would start thinking before condemning other team. yerp, think before you throw.

anyway last night's match marks a break for the tournament until the coming february. guess its a release for me. no more overnight stay, should i be able to concentrate more on my studies. exams will be in february too. this is like a deja-vu. each time Champion League knock out round/final took place, i will always in the final exam mode. though i would never mind that.statistics shows that i perform better in studies with that condition.

last night...

let's rewind the timeline a bit. last night, the 'SIFE UiTM get-together ' in Azuan's place ran smoth. bob and me sacrificed ourselves to become cook for the bbq. i handled the chicken, he handled the lamb. foods were good, actually they were great. there was bob, prov, ayie, zul saadon, myself and the host, azuan from the boys and prof N,zety, jijie, faezah, zehan, sasa, bedah, emi temah, aida, and deena from the girls. i don't think i did miss any name but if i do, i aplogize for that.not to forget to mention, azuan's parents and brother (thanks for the fire, man) was there too joining us thru the nite.

back to today...

edzuan called me just now, told me that he was admitted to the hospital yesterday. fainted out of sudden. i'm thinking of paying him a visit later today, maybe a bit in the evening.

'the chronicles of narnia' and 'rock' is out in cinemas. i'm still contemplating to watch either first. budget constrain requires me to be more careful in spending each penny i have. Lin..help me!!! ;-)

Current health state: i got flu. thanks to MakTab. fell like its going to turn to fever soon.no worry, went to the clinic already. i'll be good.

spent the day in hafiedz's place. Hendra need help to find his girlfriend's convo pics. guess later we went for lunch in Khulafa Bistro ( hafiedz vetoed out our proposal for malay restaurant). Then accompanied Hendra to repair his bike, then the clinic, MITRANS.

i was on the way to buy cokodok pisang when Faiz, MakTab and Edz 'forced' me to join them in the car, fetched Hafiedz and we were on our way to his place...again. played card, watched naruto the movie. the joy of was disturbed when Edz and me decided to help Faiz, a bastard parked a car behind his, put on the hand brake so he couldn't go out. he was about to meet his lecturer in Khulafa Bistro. i sent him using Prov's bike. Edz gave some 'souvenir' to the car with an unlucky owner.

rode back with prov. at 2 am he called me asking for help. his bike got prob so he had to borrow mine to go back home, done with that and i'm back on the bed zzzz...

i love happy endings...

We did it!!! finally after the 9-years wait, UiTM won the Royals Intervarsity Debate!!! as i told you earlier, last night was one of the most important night in UiTM debating history. we were in the finals, against the defending champion, IIUM. the 6-0 breaking record, plus 2 in the knock out rounds and 1 in the finals...made it 9-0 wins throughout the tournament. that's a record of its own, man. first time in the history of the tournament. the number 9 seemed to bring luck to us. its the 9th royals, with 9 debaters from uitm ( 1 in senior team and 2 in junior team), and the 9 rounds win. damn! i feel good!!!

last night, after the finals everybody was in a mood of '"i think we deserve the win but we still afraid if the last year's history repeats"( we lost to IIUM in last year's finals in UMS). knowing the fact that we will not be able to sleep anyway because we worry too much ( or was that just an excuse to find some fun? nope, actually we were in the worry mode) we decided to find some way to relief ourselves, drove (3 cars) to Mines, thought of catching any movie. too bad, we were too late for the last show, so we went to hartamas for a drink ( for ilyas, tariq, habib and me: watch a football match-M.U vs Portsmoth. as an Arsenal fan, ( actually i'm for anything against M.U) i believe that to watch the Red Devils ( hell yeah i'm sure they are going to get burn in the hereafter!!) was not a good scene to watch.but i got to admit i enjoyed the game, tho.

then we drove to Bukit Permai. the place where everybody turned to be a kid again. maximum utilization of all facilities in the playground gave us such a good time. i mean it, when we laughed like there was nobody around,i guess it was a clear indicator that we enjoyed ourselves.

arrived in UKM at 6am. around 9.30 i was awake. get prepared, and went to the hall (DECTAR) to watch the finals for Bahasa Melayu category.

still remember the moment when the word-swallowing emcee announced us as the winner. he (stupidly) announce the runner up first, not thinking that by doing that would take the surprise away.(yeah, because who will be left to win, right?). he said 'UIAM' (that's the translation of IIMU acronym into Malay language. i heard that, hoping i heard the right thing, jumped and screamd...Tubby, our trainer did that too. so i know i was right. the problem was, everybody else except us was sitll sitting as if nothing happened, looked like they were stone or something...untilt both of us ( Tubs and me) turned at them, shouthed 'WE WIN " to their face, then they realize and join the celebration. haiyoh!! what la...

so unfortunate during the price giving ceremony, i have to say it was tarnished by several incidents. the inability of the emcee @ MC @ master of ceremony to announce the name of right institutions was one problem, plus even if he pronounce the right name, it was always unclear for us the audience to hear. the maximum damage was done when he, somehow someway announced the wrong verdict for Bahasa Melayu category. he first announced UiTM as the winner. i was jumping, screaming, happily. how can i was not happy when we won both Bahasa Melayu and English category? Its a double dose celebration, man. suddenly out of nowhere the cheif judge came out and announce the 'right' verdict. the trophy goes to UPM. it was a sad, sad moment for the Bahasa team. I don't know what the heck is wrong, but from the sources that can be trusted, there were hell lots of problem happened in the management of Bahasa Melayu category and the incident was the max of it. pity them...don't worry guys, you are still our champion, in heart.

no matter what ever happens, this royals will always be the one to be remembered...

hell, i'm stucked here...

I am currently in a cyber cafe in Kajang, my friends forced me to play Warcraft III in which i have no freaking idea what is it all about. Habib tried hard to teach me but I guess maybe i'm just not born for things like this. got killed by afiq and edzuan several times and i decide to let habib fight the battle on his own. anyway he is good.

what the heck i'm doing here? actually i spent a night in UKM, its Malaysian Royals Debating Championship, man. UiTM senior team made it to the finals. if i'm not mistaken tonight they will go against IIUM. The juniors, well they have put their best, but maybe better luck next time. Really looking foward to win this one. It's the best year to win it.

last nite, after eating like mad in sherrie's place while watching 'Team America' we played basketball and touch rugby in the dark. it was really hard man, but still i managed to shot some 3 pointers. then chatted until around 3am. woke up to watch junior's final. wasn't that good, could be better. i could say it was a messy one. in fact, the whole crowd said it was. IIUM vs UKM.

the best thing is, i got to meet Ustaz-one of my intern friend back in the USA. he looks big, put up weight. mildred is here too..and of course the host, fea.

*i have just quit the warcraft mission-damn that's not my game.

thinking of playin basketball this evening, if the a lot of people turn up, maybe can make intervarsity match.

catch you people soon...
